Or shall I say, the need to test my speed.
I've been agonizing over that application I dropped off the other day. I wrote that I could type 70+ wpm on it. Then I got to thinking "what if I can't??". (I'm having some insecurity issues. I'm also ready to just go work at Sheetz, but that's another story).
So anyway, I Googled an online typing test.
I think I'm okay saying 70+ wpm (click to embiggen):

Mine was 64wpm.

I got 81, but good grief they are comma-happy! This site would drive Sarah bonkers. Heh ...

Yeah I would say you have NOTHING to worry about! In my entire life I have only had to take one typing test at an interview. The last time I checked my speed I was 60wpm. Maybe I should go check it out. :-)

D@mn girl!!! That's impressive! (I didn't try it. Didn't think my self esteem could handle the feedback!)

I totally get the insecurity issue. Also chuckled at the Sheetz job possibility. On our gagillion trips through the great state of PA (to DHs hometown of Buffalo, NY) we pit stop at many a Sheetz station. The only place I've ever seen 'em to boot. You could have been my next cashier, lol!
