If I challenge you to finish the Anniversary Mystery Shawl before I give birth, will it work? ;-)

Can't wait to see the shop sample you're knitting. You know me and baby sweaters these days!

The fact that you discovered you could tap into your neighbor's wireless by resting the computer on top of the couch is very clever. Your lace knitting addiction seems to be progressing nicely.
I remember when Elvis died too. Both Elvis & Wacko Jacko were Kings (of rock and pop, respectively) and both were bizarre people but Jacko takes the cake for bizarro.
The past week the reaper has been working overtime in the cleb department: Farrah, Ed McMahon, Billy Mays (the loud oxyclean guy) and yesterday, Karl Malden.

We used to enjoy hit-or-miss stolen wireless when we lived in California. Of course, we were in a three-unit building with apartments on either side, so there were multiple options to steal. I was so happy when we moved back here and purchased our very own wireless signal.

The UCLA Medical Center where MJ (and Farrah!) croaked is about a block and a half from my old office. I'm quite glad I was not still at UCLA for several reasons last week, between the media circus and the blanket 8% pay cut for all university employees. Yeep!

That was a very nice remembrance of Michael Jackson. Well said.

Looking forward to seeing you soon, as well as all of those projects that you are working on!

We were on vacation when Elvis died too, on a boat crossing from St. John's New Brunswick to Nova Scotia. People were glued to the tv in the ticket office and they had to call to board several times.

I just hope the media circus is finally over and will hope that his children don't become even bigger pawns in the hands of the fruits and nuts.

Renata

I mIss you!
